The Lake Worth, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2019 Pierce custom pumper powered by a Detroit Diesel 505-hp engine.

The Lake Worth, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2019 Pierce custom pumper. It is built on a Pierce Dash CF cab and chassis, powered by a Detroit Diesel DD 13 505-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Pierce PUC 1,500-gpm pump, a 750-gallon water tank, a Husky 3 foam system and an Akron deck gun. Other features include Whelen warning lights, Fire Research Corp. scene lights, a Kussmaul battery conditioners, a HiViz/Firetech brow light and a Federal Signal Q2B siren.
