Bayville Vol. Fire Co., Berkeley Township, NJ, Puts New Engine in Service

Bayville Volunteer Fire Company, Berkeley Township, NJ., has taken delivery of a  2018 KME Predator Panther pumper. It is built on a KME four-door, six-occupant, climate controlled cab with a 10-inch raised roof. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS-P transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU C20D 1,500-gpm pump and a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank. Other features include a Fire Research Pump Boss pump control, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Amdor roll-up doors, a Resolve Specialty Products, two-bottle fill station with a four-bottle 6,000-psi air cascade system, FRC LED scene lighting, Vetter air bags, an Onan 6,000-watt pto hydraulic generator, two Hannay electric reels, Hurst e-Draulic rescue tools, Whelen scene brow light and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
