Manalapan Township, NJ, Fire Company, has received a 2017 Pierce Quantum/PUC model rescue pumper with 1,500-gpm single-stage pump, 700-gallon polypropylene, rectangular, form fitting water tank and 20-gallon Class B foam cell with Husky Foam System. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 13 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVSP transmission. It has a 26-inch extended bumper with hose tray, two water/foam crosslay hosebeds, adjustable shelves, wheel well storage for air bottles, slide-out tool trays, swing out tool boards and an awning on the driver's side. There's also an Akron StreamMaster II electric nozzle monitor, a 9,000-pound portable winch with four receivers, coffin-style compartments, a light tower, and multiple Safety Vision cameras.
