The members of the Moose Lake, MN, Fire Department have taken delivery of a enclosed, full-response pumper built by Custom Fire Apparatus. The 2017 apparatus is built on a Freightliner M2 cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins L9 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. The crew cab features an interior pump controls, SCBA seating, a command desk, an EMS cabinet and heating and air conditioning. The speedlay hosebed exist in the lower level of the cab. The body is concealed bolted aluminum with a stainless steel sub-frame. To fight fire, it has a Hale QFlo 1,250 gpm midship pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF tank with a 30-gallon foam cell, a FoamPro 2001 single agent foam system, and a Fire Research Corp Pump Boss pressure governor. It also has a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator and Whelen warning lights and siren.
