The Town Bank Volunteer Fire Company, in Lower Township, Cape May County, NJ, has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Velocity PUC pumper. It is built on a four-door, six-occupant climate controlled cab and chassis and powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 engine and an Alliison 4000EVS transmission. It's also equipped with a 1,500-gpm pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III with a 40-gallon Class A foam cell , a Husky 12 foam system and a Trident air prime system. Other equipment includes an EMS compartment in the rear of the cab, a 20,000-watt Harrison generator, a Will-Burt NightScan tower, Task Force Tips deck gun, two Hannay electric reels, Amdor roll-up doors, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, and a Whelen siren. It was sold by Sam Squire, Fire & Safety Services, South Plainfield, NJ. The cost was $725,000.
