The Mountain View, NY, Volunteer Fire Department will take delivery, in late June, of a 2018 Marion pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis. It has a four-door, six-occupant, climate-controlled cab and chassis with a raised roof and full-height rear doors. It is powered by a Cummins 400-hp L9 engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a Hale QMax150-23L, single-stage pump, a Trident air prime system, a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, roll-up doors, Slidemaster shelves, slide-out tool boards, a Harrison generator, Hannay electric reel, Kussmaul battery conditioner, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, Whelen M9 Series LED scene lights and a TFT Crossfire deck gun.
