The South Old Bridge, NJ, Fire Department accepted delivery of a 2018 KME rescue-pumper. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm pump and 750-gallon water tank. The cab has a transverse compartment space and seating for six members.There are two cross-lay hose beds, front discharge gate, one rear discharge gate, and a low rear hose bed.  A booster reel is located under the rear bed. The apparatus carries extrication tools, roll-out equipment draws, LED warning and compartment strip lighting and Harrison 12,000-watt generator. It has roll-up compartment doors and wheel well storage space. In addition, the cab has chargers for portable radios and TICs
