The Cedarville Volunteer Fire Company, Lawrence, NJ, has taken delivery of a.2018 KME Panther pumper. It is built on a Panther cab and chassis with seating for six in Bostrom Firefighter seats. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp 9L engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMax200 23L, single-stage pump and a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank. It's also equipped with a Fire Research Corp. pump boss, a Tank Vision Pro, a TFT deck gun, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, ROM roll-up doors, an Onan 6,000-watt pto hydraulic generator, a Will-Burt NightScan light tower and Holmatro extrication tools. Other equipment includes a Zico ladder rack, Hannay electric reels and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren. The unit cost about $550,000.
