Aura Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Elk Township, NJ, has taken delivery of a Rosenbauer MP-3 pumper. It is built on a four-door Rosenbauer Commander, climate-controlled cab and chassis with a raised roof and seating for eight in 911 Seats and full-height rear doors. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 8FGF 1,500-gpm single-stage pump, a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank with a 20-gallon foam cell, a Trident air prime system, Fire Reseach Corp. InControl 300 pressure governor and a FoamPro 2000 foam system. It is also equipped with a Harrison 10,000-watt generator, a four-bank 4,000-psi air cascade system with an RSP two-bottle fill station, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Hurst extrication tools, Hannay electric reels, a Command Light light tower, Whelen scene and warning lights, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
