Pennsauken Township, NJ, Fire Department, has taken delivery of a pair of Pierce pumpers. They are built on Pierce Enforcer cabs and chassis and powered by Cummins L9 450-hp engines and Allison 3000EVS transmissions.To fight fires, they have Waterous CSU C20D, single-stage 2,000-gpm pumps, 500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III tanks, Trident air primers, and Pierce Smart Pumps. Other features include 911 seats, two EMS compartments in the rear of the cabs, Harrison Hydra-Gen 6,000-watt generators, and a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioners, rescue-style compartments, Holmatro Core rescue tools, Whelen LED scene lighting, Hannay electric reels, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
