Delmar, DE, Volunteer Fire Company, in Sussex County, has taken delivery of a 2019 Seagrave Marauder pumper. It is built on a Seagrave four-door, six-occupant, climate controlled cab and chassis with a flat roof and H.O. Bostrom seats. It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Qmax150-23 single-stage pumper, 750-gallon polypropylene water tank, a 25-gallon foam tank, and a Hypo FoamPro 2001 foam system. Other equipment include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, a Trident air primer, a Zone Defense rear-view camera, an Akron Brass Apollo hi-riser deck gun and Hannay hose reels. It also features Whelen warning lights, Fire Research Corp. scene lights, LED compartment lighting and a fron Roto-Ray.
