Freehold Township, NJ, Fire District 1 has put in service a brand new Pierce Velocity pumper/tanker with a 525-hp Detroit DD13 diesel engine and a Hale QMAX 200 that pumps 2,000 gpm.

Other features include:

  • High-dry side with catwalks.
  • Husky 12 single agent 50-gallon foam cell.
  • Booster reel over the pump.
  • Three crosslay beds and a hose bed.
  • Oshkosh TAK-4 suspension.
  • Raised roof above six-person cab with storage compartment space.
  • 22" extended front bumper with hose tray on left side (discharge gate).
  • Adjustable shelves, transverse crew cab compartment, side and read dump chutes.
  • Three safety cameras, Hurricane TFT monitor, electric, panel and wireless control.
  • Hydraulic ladder rack.
