Apparatus - Delivery: Polk County, OR, Pumper/Tankers
The Southwestern Polk County Rural Fire Department in Sheridan, OR, has taken delivery of four Midwest Fire side-mount pumper/tankers mounted on Freightliner M2 112 chassis.
The rigs are all powered by a Cummins L9 (450-hp) engine and Allison 3000EVS transmission with 2,000-gallon APR Polypropylene water tanks and a Hale RSD PTO-driven pump (1,250-gpm).
