The Swannanoa, NC, Fire Department has taken delivery of a new custom KME pumper mounted on a Severe Service LFD flat roof chassis.

This rig features a Cummins X12 (500-hp) engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission with a Hale QMAX (1,750-gpm) pump and 1,000-gallon water tank.
