The Edison, NJ, Division of Fire took delivery of a 2022 Spartan MetroStar MFD. The rig is powered by a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX150 single-stage pump, a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank and an Akron Apollo deck gun. It also has a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Trident air primer, Whelen Pioneer LED front brow light, ROM shutters, Whelen LED scene and emergency lighting, Harrison MCR 6kW generator and a Hannay electric cord reel.
