The Town of Mohawk Fire Department has placed this 2023 Sutphen Monarch pumper featuring a top-mount pump into service.

Firefighting capabilities includes a UPF Poly Tank III 1,000-gallon water tank, 30-gallon Class A foam cell, TFT X-Fire deluge gun and both front and rear intakes and discharges. For pumping, the rig is equipped with a Hale QMAX200-23L single-stage pump with a Trident primer, Hale MIV air bleeders and Pump Boss control.

The six-seat climate-controlled cab has Bostrom FF seats with under-seat helmet storage and a storage cabinet. The roof includes topside storage compartments. The body is outfitted with Amdor shutters, slide-out tool trays and LED compartment lighting.

Power comes from a 450-hp Cummins L9 motor and an Allison EVS3000 transmission.

The rig has a four bottle 6,000 psi air cascade system with Space Saver, Harrison Hydra-Gen generator, a light tower from Command Light, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, a Hannay electric reel, a Firetech Hi-Viz front LED brow light and Federal Q2B mechanical siren.
