Apparatus - Delivery: Lansing, NY, Pumper/Tanker

The Lansing Fire Department worked with Pierce to build this Velocity pumper/tanker with top-mount pump controls.

The Lansing Volunteer Fire Department in Tompkins County took delivery of this Pierce Velocity pumper/tanker.

Firefighting capabilities include top-mount pump controls, a 2,000-gpm Waterous C200 single-stage pump, FRC Pump Boss, 2,500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank and a 100-gallon foam cell with Elkhart foam eductor. It is equipped with a TFT deluge gun with Extenda-Gun and two rear 2 1/2-inch discharges, one for foam operations. Water supply operations include side and rear A.H. Stock dump chutes

The rig is equipped with TAK-4 suspension, a Cummins X15 motor, Allison EVS4500 transmission and Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner.

It is outfitted with Zico swing-down Fol-Da-Tank and ladder brackets, Whelen LED scene lighting, Firetech Hi-Viz LED front lighting and Federal Q2B mechanical and E-2 sirens.
