A fire truck flipped onto its side after a collision with a car Monday in Smithfield.
The engine with four firefighters aboard was reponding to a fire alarm when the crash occurred.
The civilian and the firefighters were transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to The Johnston County Report.
While the crash is under investigation by Smithfield Police, early reports indicated the car pulled into the path of the responding rig.
