Lone Rock, WI, Fire District has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis.

Lone Rock, WI, Fire District has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. It is equipped with a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, a Hale RSD 1,250-gpm PTO pump and Newton 10-inch swivel dump valves with 36-inch telescoping chutes. It also has a Zico electric portable tank carrier and a 3,000-gallon portable tank. It features a Federal Signal mechanical Q2B siren, Whelen scene and warning lights. Other features includes a FoamPro 1600 foam system with a 10-gallon foam cell, a Kussmaul battery conditioner and OnSpot tire chains.
