The Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company No.1, Myerstown, PA, has taken delivery of a 2019 Alexis tanker built on a White Western Star cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 505-hp X15 engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. to fight fire, it has a Hale DSD 1,250-gpm pump with a left side intermediate pump panel, and a APR 3,000-gallon wetside poly water tank. Other features include a Fire Research Corp. InControl 400 pressure governor, and three Newton 10-inch electric dump valves with 18-inch electric extensions, an Akron Brass Mercury portable deluge appliance, two Zico portable tank carriers, Power Call electronic siren, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
