The Bahama, NC, Volunteer Fire Rescue, EMS Company, Inc., has taken delivery of a 3,000-gallon tanker built by Alexis Fire Equipment. It's built on a Peterbilt 367 two-door cab and chassis. It's powered by a Cummins ISX12 425-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. It's equipped with a 3,000-gallon polypropylene elliptical tank with a stainless steel jacket and a Waterous CXS 1,000-gpm pump with a left side pump panel. Other equipment includes three Newton 10-inch electric dump valves, Kussmaul battery charger, Whelen warning lights, Code 3 scene lights, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren and Fire Research Corp. scene lights.
