Apparatus - Howard County, MO, Fire Protection District Gets New Pumper-Tanker

The Howard County Fire Protection District recently welcomed a new Toyne pumper-tanker to its fleet. It's fourth made for the district by Toyne in the last few years..The latest apparatus is built on a Freightliner M2 106 cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins ISL 9 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Darley LSP PTO 750-gpm pump and a 2,000-gallon UPF tank.
