Kearney, NE, Volunteer Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 350-HP engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. it is equipped with a 2,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank and a Hale MBP 1,000-gpm pto pump. Other features include six Whelen scene lights, Whelen warning lights and a Kussmaul battery conditioner.
