Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department, East Greensburg, IN, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control, tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350EV hp engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,000-gallon UPF polypropylene tank and a Hale MBP 1,000-gpm pto pump. Other equipment includes stainless steel 10-inch square Newton dump valves with 36-inch telescoping chutes, Whelen warning and scene lights and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner.
