Apparatus - Warsaw, MO, Fire Protection District Puts New Tanker-Pumper in Service

Midwest Fire built the apparatus on a Freightliner cab and chassis.

The Warsaw, MO, Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350-hp EV engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QFlo 1,250-gpm split-shaft pump, a 2,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, a rear-mount stainless steel 10-inch square dump valve with a 36-inch telescoping valve, FoamPro 1600 foam system with 20-gallon foam cell and a Zico electric portable tank carrier with a 2,100-gallon portable tank. Other equipment includes Whelen warning and scene lights, a View Safety rear-view camera, and a Kussmaul battery and air conditioner system.
