Union County, NJ, Emergency Services, has put Tanker 7 in service, a 3,500-gallon apparatus built by Pierce Mfg. It is built on a Freightliner 114 SD 6x4 cab and chassis, powered by a Detroit Diesel DD 13, 450-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. The two-door apparatus is equipped with a 1,250-gpm single-stage pump and a 3,500-gallon tank.
