The Roxbury, NY, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a tanker-pumper built by Midwest Fire on a Mack Granite cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 cab and chassis and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,500-gallon tank, a FoamPro 1600 foam system and a Hale MBP 750-gallon PTO pump. Other features include side and rear Newton 10-inch dump valves with 18-inch chutes, a Zico electric portable tank carrier and a 2,500-gallon portable tank, Whelen warning and scene lights, Kussmaul battery and air conditioner, and a Federal Signal mechanical siren.
