Brookville, IN, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control tanker-pumper built on a Kenworth T370 chassis with a PACCAR PX-9 380 EV engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank and a Hale MBP 1,000-gpm pto pump. It is also equipped with three Newton stainless-steel, 10-inch square dump valves with 36-inch telescoping chutes. It's also equipped with Whelen warning and scene lights, Kussmaul battery conditioner, and OnSpot tire chains.
