Two Woodland, PA, Firefighters Hurt When Tanker Crashes on Icy Road
Two firefighters were injured in a tanker crash Thursday morning while responding to a house fire.
The BJW Volunteer Fire Company tanker skidded off an icy road and struck a tree.
The firefighter behind the wheel was trapped and had to be extricated, while a passenger also was injured. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment, WJAC reported.
They were responding to a house fire in Bradford Township when the crash occurred.
