Matt Page is the new vice president of global product at 5.11, Inc. Page is a former executive at The North Face, Under Armour and Martin Hardwear.

Page has led teams through his expertise in transforming clothing creation through technology, modernizing the creation of technical apparel, and driving the design and development of equipment and accessories. In addition, he also has collaborated closely with athletes and industry professionals for the design of highly technical and award-winning products for ski patrol, sponsored outdoor athletes, the military and law enforcement.

Joseph Belle is joining REV Group as vice president of operations to oversee operational excellence across all REV fire facilities. He will provide day-to-day leadership of the E-ONE business as vice president and general manager.

Daniel Blatt was appointed vice president and general manager of the Spartan fire operations. He will report to Amanda Van Duyn, who is vice president and general manager of the Spartan fire brands.

Belle has worked with REV Group brands throughout his career and returns following a stint as senior director of operation and continuous improvement at TICO.

Blatt brings more than 30 years of experience in operations and P&L management in manufacturing and industrial environments. He served as vice president and general manager of REV Group’s recently divested commercial shuttle business.

StrongPath, which is a virtual science-based fitness and nutrition company, partnered with Life Scan Wellness Centers, which is a provider of early-detection public safety physicals, to offer firefighters, EMS personnel and police free access to StrongPath’s virtual fitness app.

The app provides access to more than 1,000 instructional and motivational exercise videos. It also provides nutrition plans as well as meditation, yoga and other stress-reduction techniques.

The Center for Public Safety Excellence Board of Directors unanimously approved the appointment of Deputy Chief William Hyde as a commissioner to represent Emergency Medical Services at the Commission on Professional Credentialing.

Hyde is deputy fire chief for the Rogers, AR, Fire Department, an accredited agency through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International and the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. At Rogers, he has served as the fire marshal, a building official, and director of training, special operations, aircraft rescue and EMS.

He is a graduate of the Fire Service Executive Development Institute at the International Association of Fire Chiefs and of the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy. He has a master’s degree in business administration from John Brown University, a bachelor’s in public safety management from Franklin University, and associate degrees in paramedicine and fire science administration from Northwest Arkansas Community College.

Hyde earned the designations of Chief Fire Officer in 2010 and Chief EMS Officer in 2011 and is a Fellow with the Institution of Fire Engineers–USA Branch.

Terry Victor was named to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) Advisory Committee. Victor, who is senior manager of industry relations at Johnson Controls Fire Protection, has more than 47 years of technical experience in the fire sprinkler industry.

Victor serves on various industry boards and committees and is a member of the CFSI National Advisory Committee, the AFSA Legislative Committee, and the AFSA Apprenticeship and Education Committee. He is JCI/Grinnell’s representative on the NFSA Board of Directors, is the past chairman of the NFSA Engineering & Standards Committee, and is the current chairman of the NFSA Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Committee.

Ernst Piercy was named to the Board of Trustees for the National Fire Heritage Center, which is the nation’s archive for historical documents and other perishables that are related to fire protection. These perishables include: art and artifacts; audio; books; charts and graphs; documents; maps; photography; reports; and video.

Piercy is a retired fire chief, who has more than 35 years in the fire service. Most recently, he served as the regional fire chief for Navy Region Southwest in San Diego. Previously, he served as the fire chief at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. During his tenure at the Air Force Academy, he held the positions of station captain, assistant chief for training, assistant chief for operations, deputy fire chief and fire chief.

Piercy completed the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy and has been a Chief Fire Officer Designate.
