The Firefighters 2025 Baseball Schedule Includes Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium

June 11, 2025
In their second year, The Firefighters - the third squad for the Savannah Bananas league - will play ball at several MLB stadiums.

Last year, the creator and owner of Banana Ball, Jesse Cole, launched the third team in the Banana Ball League, The Firefighters.

The team includes players who come from firefighting backgrounds, whether it was for a couple years or more than a decade. Not every player has a fire service background, but all of them are helping boost the popularity of first responders through this entertaining baseball leauge. View their roster here.

The team is coached by Valerie Perez, who announced her retirement after 10 years with the Corpus Christi, TX, Fire Department. She will coach the team full-time this season.

“Jesse, as well as the rest of the staff, they're very forward with saying how it's supposed to be something that brings honor to the fire service," Perez told Firehouse.com in a previous interview. "That's something that I explained [to the team]. When you put on the jersey, it's not just another baseball jersey. It's a jersey that represents something much bigger than baseball, much bigger than anything you played for. You represent the 343 people that passed on 9/11 and the (many) that we average every single year that die in the fire service."

Cole and company are doing things nobody thought that they could accomplish. The organization is consistently selling out Major League Baseball stadiums, including selling out 10 of the team’s 15 series this year.

While the team is in the first couple weeks of the Banana Ball season, here is a look at their schedule, including the stadium capacity ticket availabilty.

The MLB ballparks include the homes of the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox. Other games will be played at the smaller Minor League affialte stations.

The 15 series' contain 33 total games with 23 of them being sold out already. It's not shocking considering the squad sold out 19 of their games in their first season.

The Savannah Bannas handle things differently when it comes to getting tickets, and allow for fans to enter a lottery system to allocate tickets. There are more than three million people on the waitlist, and, the league said, it is growing.

It looks like the sky is the limit for The Firefighters, and with more than 230,000 followers on TikTok, more than 127,000 followers on Instagram and more than 21,000 subsribers on YouTube, nothing is going to slow them down.
