WATERFORD, Conn. --
Seven Waterford firefighters are in hot water after a practical joke that got out of hand.
Police said last September, the young firefighters taped a member of the Quaker Hill Fire Department to a board, then began shooting him with air gun beads.
Those arrested were 21-year-old Kyle Mordick, of Quaker Hill; 22-year-old Alexandra Tosi, of East Haddam; 28-year-old William H. Betters IV, of Uncasville; 54-year-old Daniel O'Connor, of Quaker Hill.
All were charged with conspiracy to commit unlawful restraint and risk of injury to a minor. All were released on $500 bond and were scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 28.
Police said a 17-year-old was also arrested and charged with assault, reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor. He was released on $30,000 bond and was in court on Wednesday.
Police said two juveniles were also arrested and referred to juvenile court.
