Firefighters rescued a man from his burning Ponca City home around 12 a.m. Wednesday.
The man first called 911 from his kitchen. Then he called them back from a bedroom and said he was too scared too escape.
Tony Ortiz lives nearby and first saw the flames through his peephole.
"I opened up the door and it was just a humongous fireball coming out his front door," Ortiz said. "Then the windows started exploding everywhere."

Crews were able to pull the man to safety and said he should be ok.
At this point they have not determined the cause of the fire.
