The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) is set to honor 95 fallen firefighters during a ceremony this Sunday at the National Fire Academy in Maryland.

The service, which will begin at 10 a.m. at the Academy in Emmitsburg, is open to the public and will honor 75 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2016, as well as 20 others who died in previous years, according to a release by the NFFF.

During the ceremony, a bronze plaque bearing the names of the fallen will be added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. The firefighters will also be remembered during a candlelight service on Saturday, which is also open to anyone who wishes to attend.

The annual tribute, sponsored by the NFFF and the U.S. Fire Administration, is expecting more than 5,000 people this year, including members of Congress, administration officials, members of the fire service, and family and friends of the fallen.

The event will be livestreamed here and additional information, including details on each firefighter being honored, is available here.
