Among the many wildland firefighters helping to tame several blazes in Nevada are non-violent prison inmates who earn $1 an hour and credits toward early release. One crew has been working 11 days straight in 16-hour shifts, but the inmates say they love the experience of giving back to the community while they serve their time.
