Fire Departments Rally Behind NY Teen Battling Cancer
A 16-year-old aspiring firefighter in upstate New York was hoping to wear a different department t-shirt every day during his chemotherapy treatments for leukemia.
Timothy Richardson, whose father is a firefighter, has already received an overwhelming response with over 1,500 shirts arriving from many fire departments—even from as far away as Hawaii.
