Phoenix FF Lauds Colleagues upon Becoming Citizen

Phoenix firefighter Natalia Baker, a Ukrainian immigrant, credited her fire department colleagues with inspiring her after she became a U.S. citizen Friday.

"These guys are the ones who showed me how great this country can be," said Baker, who joined the department three years ago after meeting several firefighters while working at a local fitness center. "These guys embody everything that I can think of about the United States."
