MN Firefighter Receives US Citizenship

St. Paul firefighter Ulicer Sanchez, who came to the U.S. from Belize when he was 10, officially took the oath of citizenship Wednesday.

St. Paul firefighter Ulicer Sanchez, who came to the U.S. from Belize with his parents when he was 10 years old, officially took the oath of citizenship on Wednesday along with about 250 other immigrants.

"Once I started the EMS Academy to the point I am today, I've joined a family of 400-plus members, and they make me feel at home every day," Sanchez told WCCO.
