Sunland Park fire Capt. Dennis Schoen's "343 Commitment" involves him climbing 110 flights on a stair climber almost every day he's on duty as he honors each of the 343 FDNY firefighters who died on Sept. 11, 2001.
"Our brothers, 343, gave their lives in one day," said Schoen, who began his commitment about two years ago with each climb honoring a specific member of the 343. "We cannot forget that."
