Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District firefighters heard one of their station garbage bins tip over last Saturday night and found three bear cubs inside the next morning.
In this video posted to Facebook, firefighter/paramedic Ed Martin carefully opens the bin while Capt. Michael Trevino films and engineer Patrick Walsh, who is off camera, deters the mother bear which had been watching over the bin when the crew came out of the station.
