CA Volunteers Fighting to Preserve District

Volunteers with the Julian-Cuyamaca Fire Protection District continue fighting to avoid consolidation into the San Diego County Fire Authority.

After the fire board voted 3-2 in favor of dissolving the district, firefighters have until mid-October to get 25 percent of the residents in the district to sign a petition and put the matter to a vote.
