Amid an ongoing dispute over pay parity for Houston firefighters, someone posted a sign against the union's efforts at the site of the 2013 Southwest Inn fire that resulted in the deaths of five firefighters.

"I don't know how you walk up here and see five flags flying, the thin red line and the 13 that were injured and not understand that this is not the place to show your disdain and your vindictiveness toward Houston Firefighters," union leader Marty Lancton said.
