Hillsborough County firefighter Eddie Torres was on duty when he got the call that a fire had destroyed his family's Riverview home.

Hillsborough County firefighter Eddie Torres was on duty recently when he got the call that a fire had destroyed his family's Riverview home.

Torres' wife and young son were able to escape, but their dog perished in the blaze.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for Torres by his fellow firefighters.
