New MA Beer Honors Fallen FF

Brewed by breweries in Wormtown and Wachusett, "Worcester's Bravest" was created to help raise money for the daughter of Massachusetts firefighter Christopher, who died last month.

“We’re all Worcester guys. We just felt like we had to give back,” Wormtown Brewery's David Fields told WBZ-TV.

Roy died in December fighting a three-story apartment fire. He was a single father and left behind Ava, his 9-year-old daughter. Sales of "Worcester's Bravest" will go to the Ava Roy Fund.

The beer's makers hope to raise around $40,000 for Ava, the TV station reports.
