Ex-Sweeny, TX, Fire Chief, Firefighter Charged with Sex Crimes Involving Minors
The Sweeny fire chief and a firefighter have been charged in connection with sexual offenses involving minors.
Ex-Chief Timothy Webb, who has been with the department since 2008, is being held without bail following his indictment on 13 counts including indecency with a child and prostitution of a child.
The allegations from multiple children occurred over several years, KPRC reported.
Former Sweeny firefighter Coleman Pollock was charged in a separate but related case.
Investigators are examining a possible connection Webb and Pollock, who were neighbors. Police said they may have shared explicit images of the victims.
Pollock was arrested in September on three counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of indecency with a child. He is currently out on bond.
Sweeny fire officials placed the two on administrative leave once they learned about the allegations.
Police said there may be additional victims.
