Reno, NV, Fire Chief May Soon Have Two Bosses
Reno Fire Chief David Cochran may soon have two bosses.
A proposed agreement would have Cochran leading the Sparks Fire Department in addition to Reno.
Both departments would remain separate as the proposal is not a consolidation or merger, KTVN reported.
Under the proposal, the City of Sparks would reimburse Reno an amount equal to 25% of his salary and benefits.
Both city councils have placed the issue on their agendas next week.
