Six Chicago firefighters appeared on "Good Morning America" Wednesday sporting bleached blonde hair-dos. Their coloring was done at an area salon that promised to donate $1000 to the New York fund for each bleached Chicago bravest. So far, the firefighters said, they had heard that over 750 of their fellow workers have agreed to go blonde for their New York brothers and sisters. "Good Morning America" reported that the salon had already raised $150,000 to cover the first 150 bleach jobs. The firefighters said they were aiming to raise at least $1 million. One firefighter said that he expected the firefighters' new hair color to renew their marriages. Another admitted, "This was my one chance to go blonde."
