South St. Paul, Minn. (September 30, 2011) – EarthClean Corporation, a Minnesota-based clean technology company, announced today that SAM JOO S.M.C. Co., Ltd., a clean technology and industrial coatings company based in Seoul, South Korea (Republic of Korea), has been signed as the exclusive EarthClean distributor for the country of South Korea. Terms of the distributor agreement encompass a three-year time frame and $4.3 million USD. The agreement was signed yesterday as EarthClean CEO and founder, Doug Ruth, visited South Korea with the Minnesota trade delegation led by Governor Mark Dayton.

TetraKO, a patented product, the main ingredient of which is cornstarch, transforms water into an adhering solution that can be pumped through standard firefighting equipment. TetraKO has proven to be far superior to other fire suppression products because a key attribute of its proprietary dual thickening agent causes it to stick and stay where applied. When heated by fire, TetraKO becomes even thicker and releases a dense steam, dramatically aiding in fire suppression.
TetraKO solution has been independently tested by accredited laboratories, and has been certified ready biodegradable and non-toxic (aquatic and mammalian) using EPA and internationally recognized OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) standards.
