What Is A Hero?

During the past week, there has been a great deal of angry Internet chatter regarding one person's flawed view of the American Fire Service. I must admit that it has been a long time since I have read anything that negative written about the fire service. However, I would urge those who are out there around the world melting tar, plucking chickens, and searching for large iron rails to slow down and take a break.

This is just one person exercising his freedom of speech. That's all. As Abe Lincoln was so fond of saying, "
