Apparatus - Retired Engine 71

One of the classics! This Engine had a 1000 gpm pump, 1000 gal. water tank, removable roof, Federal "Q", polished bell, and the works. Eastern Prairie ran it as a first out unit for 25 years before selling it to a rural department in southwest Illinois. We were glad to see it go to a community that needed a good truck... many say that this LaFrance could pump all day and never complain. Check out the next slide!
